Wow, this is wierd!
I'm not gonna ask which drugs were involved into the creation process :P
Sounds very unique to me... a bit stressing maybe, but by far the most original "Trance" tune I've heard so far . the guitar part at around 1:45 is extremely nice. ReFX Slayer is a good instrument, but I think the guitar sound is good how it is, you don't need to change it. However, the kick is a bit too muffled, I think it needs a bit more 'click'... the track is very groovy, but maybe another percussive element would make it even better.
And both thumbs up for the track, especially for those pads in the background. |
I still havent got my hands on this ReFX Slayer. I dont think ill change the grunting distortion in this tune. I am curious to hear what this ReFX sounds like though.
I am in process now of changing the kick. Im replacing it with a totally new kick. It sounds heaps better on my monitors. (I think my cans deceved me before. It sounded great in them, but as soon as I whacked them on the monitors it was muffled as hell - even worse as an mp3.
Thanks alot for the feedback cybernetica. I am a fan of your dark unique tracks & cant wait to hear more of them. That Dominion tune was erie & nuts

under the influence, and fucking great!
trying to make some sober comments now ...
beat is slightly weird, I do agree about a snare; you cannot underestimate the dancing power of beats 2 + 4 in a bar!!!
the synths are great. [0:24] bass synth that comes in is groovy; at [0:40] now you've got some seriously groovy bass. Excellent!
wicked sounding at [1:44]. track evolves very nicely at [6:30]
it's really hard to compare this track to others; it is very original. but in my limited opinion i think there's too many breakdowns; the track loses some movement without a snare, and with there being quite a few times without the kick means the energy is lost somewhat. the fact that i am sitting here on my ass in front of a computer probably invalidates what i just said
overall i really enjoyed listening, an original tune to say the least, and i'm looking forward to tracks 6 to 10! may the mayhem continue! |
Thanks to teh mighty pho mo!!
Some really excellent points raised there. I think your right about how the track losses a bit of energy with the parts without the kick. I am thinking I will reduce the breaks to only 2 places.
Sold on teh snare . Ive already added it!!

This is defiantly something I could listen to while getting stoned. Some weird ass sounds and effects you got going there…And when its all combined with the groovy bassline it really makes you go dizzy (In the good way I mean) .
It sounds like no other tune I heard before, like some down-tempo techno… really cool and original.
Me likes a lot!!
It would be nice to hear a higher quality version of this…
Thanks for sharing! |
hahaha sweet! It took me a while of messing around to get the sound I liked. I was just pretty much aiming to make myself vomit & then when I finnally got a headache from a sound I thought "Yup, this is teh sound for teh job!"
I think this mp3 version is pretty low quality. Ill have to post a higher quality version once Ive updated the track.
Thanks DJ-Kreing for the compliments ] much appreciated!
