Thumbs down Bullet in the gun

Perfecto - Bullet in the gun suxx with vocals, it was great when i heard it instrumental in the PvD MuziK 60 minutes mix...

As PvD said :"Vocals are just for 'crasher kids..."

A+

Vocals + Trance = BAD!!!!

There isn't one trance song where vocals add to the experience in a good way (IMO). Any trance song you can name would be much better without vocals.

Quite simply bullshit! I love vocal trance very much and the like of Space Brothers "Shine" and any Jan Johnston track wouldn't be the same without the vocals. Sorry, but that just isn't right. I can't believe you made such a comment!

the airscape remix would b very good with non vocals..

If i had to make discover trance to a non adept, i would make this one heard in first. It's just so magiacal with his crystal voice Sarah Mc Lahlan makes it a smahin' hit, uplifting hit...

The last of a "now buried" time when pure trance was ruling.

I cannot understand such comment, this tune made fly higher than ISS.

A+

Btw, i love this kind of provocation and the full of wit aspect of your post, cos' i know that you've been high on this one... Arf.

HHHMMMMM........I mostly agree that vocals ruin a good song since music doesn`t need to be associated to anything but goes directly into my brain and vocals get me out of this "trance" state of my mind because they don`t go "Directly" into my brain. They first have to be "translated" and put to a meaning, pure music doesn`t. I hope someone in here understands what I mean....

BUT there are a few exceptions to this: Age of love - Age of love is brilliant when the voice says:"Come on, dance with me....", since it gets you back on the floor before this best of all time synth line starts!!!

...and also there`s Nikolai - Ready to flow (original mix). This song is so brilliant and needs the vocal saying "Ready to flow" because if they weren`t in that song it would take me so far away I could never return!!!

how's about ..

Delerium - Silence [DJ Tiesto Remix]

the vocals were what made that tune!

Other stuff like the Riva/AvB remies of 'Rapture' and Hemstock & Jennings 'Mirage [Of Hope]' are other great examples of vocal trance too!

Personally I think the vocals to Bullet from a Gun are cheezy...the Mix that PVD played is soo much more powerfull....

Anyone know which mix PVD used on the 60 min mix ? I would love to get it.

Personally a song can do without vocals but in some cases they are great, like delerium, jan johnston, dumonde vs lang, bt, mekka, BUT you do have some songs that just really f**ks the song up. Like Angelic - Stay with me. REALLY hate it.
