We probably can't even conceive of what the world will be like that far in the future, save some very large, general statements of speculation. Some thoughts on possbilities:

1) We may have destroyed ourselves (I highly doubt this, though; humanity is as enduring and persistent as cockroaches and Cher, despite hydrogen bombs and all the instant mass murder our future will invent).

2) We will have engineered ourselves into post-evolutionary superhumans, the eons of random genetic cesspools being a thing of the past.

3) We will terraform other worlds to accomodate our expansion and growth.

4) We will have achieved interstellar space travel (this is far, far more difficult than science fiction would have us believe; I don't expect us to successfully leave the solar system for many hundreds of years).

In 1000 years in the future dogs will an automated pooper scooper that picks up the dog crap before it has even left the mud button; so when you take them for a walk you dont have to clean up after them.

In 1000 years in the future surf boards will hover above water & all carots will look teh same because they are cloned.
