The best prices I found on the mixers I was looking at was (all US $ & approximates)...
Ecler Nuo5: $1,000
A&H 62: $900
Denon X1500: $700

All prices are from authorized dealers. I chose the Nuo5 based on the programmable effects and a working mixer. I eliminated the x1500 because the patch still isnt out yet. There is a delay on the faders and if it has taken them since july/august when this update was suppossed to be ready to release it, I lost a bit of confidense in Denon. I know they are waiting for their dj website to be ready, but I dont think a company should affect its customer base just so they can release it w/ a new promotion.

I chose the Nuo5 because of the programmable effects, midi capabilities, and overall look / feel. I am a computer geek and the programmable effects sounded cool. I did my research and the variable line gains only come into effect if you have say a turntable and a cd hooked up the the same input. Since my setup wont call for that, I dont have to worry about it. I also liked how the mixer was more prepared for the future w/ the inputs for external equipment as well as midi out.

Denon X1500, which I already have , the Ecler was the same price, and I am a fan of Ecler, but the Denon was more to my liking.

I agree with Onceler, this patch thing is a bit of a piss take, as there waiting for a new website, and the patch has been ready for ages, but I can safely say that it will be here before christmas, I guarentee it.

Honestly out of all mixers out there, the only mixer I would want apart from my Denon is the Xone 92 Rotary, preferably the CTRL model, but thats not available.
