Its not actually as hard as you'd think, you just gotta know how long till the part you are waiting to kick in, kicks in, then choose a track thats not very complex but still good, and use this to drop in before your midnight track, then you would be able to drop your midnight track anywhere in and mix out very easly as there isn't awhole lot going on, so say its 3 minutes into your midnight track hits its peek, drop the track in on your good but plain track and mix out, you will not be 100% perfect so use the pitch very slightly to speed up or slow down a small amount so it hits right on midnight, I've done timing like this before, it just requires abit of planning, but isn't all that complicated, just make sure you ain't tanked already.
