It was first announced that the vinyls would be released, then a release group got their hands on the vinyl and put it up on the internet. Tiësto and Blackhole had nothing to do with the ripping of the vinyl to peer-to-peer programs.

I think it was the word "released" that gave me that impression

not always, often white labels are promo's too.

anything with a blank white label is known as a white label.. i have loads that are just promo's, of the ones that i own the minority are illegal bootlegs or illegal pressings..

but yeah, you will find it very hard to find a white label mp3 site. labels see that an mp3 on the market before the release of a track can be very damaging to the sales of the track, and thus they would be shooting themselves in the foot.

so, in a word, no.
