Yeh! I always take the stairs instead of escalators.. it's my daily excercise 
As for the restaurant curb-side pickup.. I saw this in the states a while back. I thought it was as dumb then as i do now... i always saw a bunch of morbidly-obese people chilling in their cars waiting for their food. One time i saw this guy get his meal and then proceed to eat in in his car!
