Eh, well i've been using Whitelabels for my turntablism stuff but stylii is so damn fragile on Shure carts I was thinking about going with some Ortofons.

Don't like the Whitelabels for Tablism.

If you really want some Tablist carts get some Shure M44-7. Mounted correctly you will have some of the best groove hugging decks around. The problem with the is that they wear more on the outside groove a little.

Electros wont give you anymore than whitelabels.

Cheers
Nem

I've yet to have my whitelabels not hold up to the scratches I do. I also mix breakbeat, experimental hip-hop, and downtempo so thats why I don't use the 44-7s.

I just brought 2 concorde nightclub E's and there really nice crisp sound... i personally couldnt tell much of a diff when i demoed them against the electros... but i got the nightclubs cheep cheep... also i rock the ortofon pink (scratch) carts for all my scratching and tablisim sessions and they are mint.

In terms of tracking the Shure M44-7s stick to the groove like glue. You can give them some serious abuse if you mount them at the correct angle.
Never encountered another cartridge that stands up to such a pounding. (Not saying they don't exist, just never seen one).
They also have very good sound.

I find that Elektros sound much better then M44-7s and track almost as well if not the same. (I own both)
