Better than I expected, but that doesn't say much. I think dance music needs to leave grunge alone. They're not compatible. That said, I think this is the best mixing of oil and water possible, but that still doesn't make it good. Interesting to hear in a radio set, but I think it would be atrocious in a club. The mellow opening guitar chords work against the production (which I would love to have a dub of), and Eddie Vedder's voice just seems out of place.
I don't mind listening to it. It's certainly much better than that remix of Smells Like Teen Spirit, which basically sped up the original and added a few small elements. It's bad enough to make me twitch. (Similar idea with a remix I heard of Another Brick In The Wall. You can't just speed it up, damnit!) I really think the qualities that make grunge what it is just don't work with dance music. I love both of them (a lot!) but I think trying to combine them is detrimental to the quality of both.

I don't like it.
Not at all.
They are trying to put too many pieces into it. The synth in the middle does not fit, the vocals just don't fit, and most especially, if you are going to put an overlay of a guitar or any other instrument, you need to have it at least be in time with the rest of the track. But the guitar seems to be totally disconnected to me, and a distraction.
I will not give it a x/10 rating cause I can't be othered to listen again.

Pearl Jam are great. And this remix is equally as good! Now all we need to discover is who's behind the Whitewash project-- possibly White?

"This is a bootleg of the Pear Jam classic ballad with hooky acoustic guitar and husky rock vocal. The track moves progressively at an easy pace through ever changing synthesized counter melodies to keep the interest. I’m totally addicted to this track but like so many bootlegs its not likely to get a proper release and will probably be limited in availability so grab a copy if your lucky enough to get a look in"

I don't mind it but I prefer the other mix of it, i believe it's the tenaglia mix.
