I have a friend who lives in an old apartement with a wooden floor. If you jump/dance/walk on his floor, the whole apartment shakes. So he always had a skipping problem with his tt's.

Now he has freefloats and he was quite positive about them. I didn't believe him when he said they actually worked. So we tested them. We jumped on his floor as hard as we could, with, and without the freefloats beneath the tt's. And guess what, they DO work. There was no skipping with the freefloats and several without them. I was stunned...

When i first spun with the freefloats, it was a bit of an odd feeling when the tt moved like a flying carpet. But once i got used to the idea, i didn't have a problem what so ever.

I agree they are a:
-over hyped
-over priced
-ugly orange
piece of gear,

But they actually do work in some cases

But Tiesto uses them and puts their advert in his DVD so they must be good right??? I mean he _is_ the #1 DJ in the world.

I bought a set cause I had my TTs on a stainless steel table but they turned out to be hightly lame. I ended up putting my CD recorder on it so that the bass wouldn't make it skip. That is all it has been good for thus far.
