Sasha, on the other hand, is a flawless mixer. I saw him spin a six hour set. His stage presence was a little cold,i.e.left for the bathroom a couple times, smoked while spinning. But his track selection is superb. He really takes you on a journey from deep to dark to progressive to melodic and finally uplifting.

i know man, but Sasha most of da time is really high or fucked up on his livesets

as 4 Digweed, yes we know his tunez dat he spins r kind of long all da time, they just keep on goin and goin, but dats da beauty of his style...i mean Diggers can spine dat 1 tune 4 like 8-10 minutes, but i has some many characteristics in it, u know?
its either u understand Digweed's style or u just dont like it

Diggers cause he's an excellent DJ and cause Heaven Scent is one of my favourites(although xpander, belfunk and scorchio kick ass too).
Still Diggers is the better Dj of the two.
If the poll was solely base on production skills I would opt for Sasha.

Digweed is a Dj with superb dj skills and mixes that go on forever and ever. Most trance djs mix their records in 30 secs while diggers sometimes takes up to 2 mins mixing.

That's true, but the tracks he mixes are extremely dj friendly. They are 8-10min songs with long buildups and breakdowns. Honostly, I can mix those tracks easily. I am not saying I am better than Digweed, just that I have imitated his sets and found it easier to mix than other dj's sets.

how about neither...

well listen to what i got to say...

I got the Communication cds and the Digweed GU LA cd's....and i dont really like either (ive got livesets from both as well)
and to tell the truth, i like progressive tunes that Dave Seaman spins, and they , to me sound different than what John and Sasha spin....dunno ....maybe u disagree with me,

but hey, just my 2cents

Yeah, you're right. Dave Seamandefinitely spins a different sound(more floatey)than Sasha and Digweed(more deep). I don't like him though. I do like Sasha and Digweed.

I voted for Sasha. Nobody mixes sets like he does... his mixing skills and set selection are second to none. He is the best thing to ever come out of Wales... and on the production side of things, look at "Xpander" -one of the best tunes of all time! "Scorchio" aint half bad either. Need I say any more...?

I feel a Heavens Scent vs Xpander poll coming on...

LOL!!

I have just heard Digweed's show at 100kiss fm or whatever it's called and there was a dj from Japan who really spins Digweed's style and MAN IT ROCKED?!@$?

I really like his progressive..!!

I never thought that 130-135 bpm can be that powerfull!

I love sasha more than digweed. But they're both pretty close.

gotta go with Digweed...i've listened to a couple of sets recently from both...i gotta say...Digweed does it more for me...Sasha goes from one genre to another too damn quickly for me...Digweed spins what i like...deep dark stuff...if u are still dancin after 10mins of the same song...then hes done his job...production wise...Xpander Vs Heaven Scent is a tuffy...both incredible productions...Sashas got more impressive stuff but Digweed with Muir under Bedrock just plain take it...always something different...layers upon layers...love their productions...i seriously think Sashas blasted when he produces...jus always so airy and out there...u kno...the things u wanna hear when u high...lol...GU CDs...i can listen to Digweeds Sydney & Los Angeles CDs more than i can stand Sashas San Fransisco & Ibiza CDs...soooo...again...the winner for me is Digweed...
Sasha just doesnt do it for me
