It's only recently just started happening, and i'm very mad. I can't afford technics, so i thought i would get myself some cheap but quite suitable decks. They worked fine when i got them but it's just every so often they change the pitch of the current trakc playing on the left tt.Any more suggestions??????

Oh my god, i think i corrected the problem. Fuck me! (plz). I simply turned everything off (which isn't a new thing because i turn everything off when i finish), and i turned the amp up to nearly full and let the speakers boom it out. Then it seemed to work. I just the simply turned down the volumne and it worked. Can anyone think of what the problem actually was so when i encounter it again in the future i can correct it. Maybe there were some wires loose or something else?

Cheers. I'm very happy now.

Not to be mean, but use some reasoning here...

Obviously it's not your RCA's/Cables/Mixer/etc, your one deck is just fubar'ed. Since it's new, return it and get another one, or try to take your deck apart and see if your (seemingly uninformed on tt's) self can fix it, voiding your warranty...

i thought you bought these 2nd hand? in which case, no warranty.

lesson learnt? don't buy cheap kit 2nd hand. if you are going to get cheap kit make sure its brand new in future

honestly though, it could be anything inside that deck, they look like they are a twat to open up, its all inject moulded casing. it could be a wire inside, some connection or anything, see if you can take it to an engineer and get them to look at it.

Ok, thanks for the help.

I only bought these 2nd hand becasue i can't afford anything brand new, escpecially not tecnhics.

My mate had some of these and his worked fine for almost a year..Could it be due to the fact that i have been cueing? I have been sliding the record back and forth to cue..(?). Cheers.

dude. accept it. you've done nothing wrong. the deck is cheap, and will eventually die. there may be some way to correct it a bit, but that will require a lot of knowledge on it, so you'll have to get someone who's done it before to do it for you, or explain the process to you.

it has nothing to do with ground wires, RCAs, the way you cue (unless you're using rubber matts that make the motor screech, that could fuck it up, but that'd just burn out the motor eventually, not make the pitch fluctuate) so... just accept it that you got shitty stuff and it's going bad. not your fault dude.

Yeah. What i'm going yto do now is i'm goin to keep the decks for maybe 6 months. Well i'm actually going to keep them until i can beatmatch properly and do every trick int he book. Then i will upgrade to technis. It will take me a couple of months to save up for techncis anyway. It's not like the decks are absolutely nackered. I can still beatmatch on them. Thanks for your help guys.

I have also noticed that the pitch only changes in the middle of the song...That make any difference?
