I can only whole heartedly agree. Was in Holland a while back and ran into some rather strange stuff in a club. Had some guy standing and giving me the evil eye all night when I pulled stuff out of my record box.

Holland is a mad place, you can buy and smoke dope. Walk around the redlight district and see young foreign girls working as prostitutes but you can't play a bootleg in a club.

The people are nice though. Always enjoy going there.

Holland just seems to weird, it's legal to smoke, grow, own weed, however, it's totally bad and illegal to play mp3s, cds that's been pirated or even backup copies for that matter, and to make matters worse you need a playlist???

Marco V did a mental intro with the echo when I saw him a few months back, works well at the start of end of a set with the right tunes.

Cut the power to the turntable then rip it backwards while killing the volume. An abrupt stop...leave them wanting more.
