Actually I think the murder rate in DC is the highest in the US. But DC is awesome, murders and all ... you people just need to be quick on your feet. All you midwest people have been getting soft thinking you're safe and all. My lease is up in July ... I may move to North East DC ... should be fun .

I don't know if D.C. still retains the title. I grew up near there and they always held the record in the old days, but times change. Quick search yielded the following.

Same thing applies to Iraq. The American media needs to show more IMO. Some people think its inappropriate, yet didn't have a problem showing the dead bodies of Saddam's son in Times Sq.
