it was a magical night with some superb music from the star DJs ferry and shane54 the atmosphere and the vibe was absolutely amazing, although there wasn't so many people. ferry played a blinder of a set with lots of variety and liked the place and the crowd very much. top bloke aswell!!!

it was great to see all the foreigners that came, the hungarian guys were great

hope to all see you on our new ventures into trance soundscapes. the next one is with MISJA HELSLOOT & NIKLAS HARDING on march 19th

wow that is so awsome that ferry corsten was there!!!....i was in Menges, Slo this summer visiting relatives....do many big name dj's like ferry spin in Ljubljana?? .....btw i am from Canada

Well if you mean trance, then no.
But since this new organisation "Trance Galactica" has formed, they managed to bring Shane 54 and Ferry so far, and next month Misja Helsloot and Niklas Harding. Before that we had PvD (not in Ljubljana) in 2001! So you can see trance here is on shabby grounds.
Hopefully that will change.
Problem is with techno & house being so dominant, and has a lot of fans, and fact that we have Umek & Kanzyani, who are both anything but trance, doesn't help either.
There's been decent commercial exposure for this night, a lot of posters & flyers, and even radio commercial which sucked, but still.
But as I said, there's hope.

i figured the techno scene is more popular in slovenia and i know it is in croatia too.....so when i saw this thread...ferry in slovenia i was surprised....i live near Toronto....there is always trance dj's coming up this way but not as much as i would like haha

basically, slovenia is quite alive regarding trance scene. if u compare it to croatia, italy or austria we are one step ahead, so that's a good sign. hopefully it will grow stronger but i like the way things are at the moment.
