I really wouldn'trecommend leaving the standard disposable contacts in your eyes over one night (let alone seven). Taking them out isn't that much of a chore. But if you really want to there are special ones available now which are designed to be left in.
And Audigy, you should probably take some time off contacts for a couple of weeks as chances are you've scratched up your cornea and it needs some time to heal.

Sometimes your contact can get caught in your upper/lower eye behind the eyelid and you can't see it, but you can kinda feel it's there cause it's irritating.

Yeah that's bloody annoying, weird stuff like this happens to me all the time cos i've got pretty dry eyes, so i have to always carry some eyedrops with me.. those are gold they fix anything.
