The "Fight The Power" demonstration was one of the best things i've been to in my life. It was much better than the LP of 2002 which i went too.

Agreed. I'd much rather have another Fight The Power than being shoved back and forth in a sea of a million people like at the Love Parade.

The mayor of Berlin has always been for it because of this reason, however, the locals started complain about the noise pollution and mesh it makes, not only in the street, but also all around the park which is one of berlin's most historic areas.

I agree, FIGHT THE POWER last year was the hotness.. havent been to the real thing so I cant compare, but that was the best EDM experience I've ever had.

We'll have it in Mexico this year again, it will be @ acapulco, the 19 & 20th of march and i really hope i can save enough money ti cross the sea and visit the LP of this year...

As far as I know, there will be a Love Parade in San Francisco this year.

2004's was a huge success here. PLanners were expecting 10,000-15,000 people, but tens-of-thousands more than that actually showed up. (the final estimates (not what the newspapers said) put it anywhere from 50,000 - 150,000, so probably somewhere in between there).

With that and the money raised (A $5 donation was asked for, and just about everyone I saw was dishing it up), 2005 should be awesome. Have heard rumors of a huge afterparty this year since all the permits should be taken care of well in advance (I actually heard they hoped to have them by the end of December, so they may already have all the permits).
