Did he remix murder was the bass so that it is LONGER than the original rework?

The two sets work out to be 7 minutes per track. 7 minutes! Maybe it's my ADD but I get really bored listening to murder was the bass for seven whole minutes.

Mark is an amazing DJ, he has an undeniably wicked record collection...why doesn't he work his records more though? I dont get it.

yah, that is the one thing about mark, he LOOOOOOVES to play the WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOLE track...that works to a huge disadvantage when you don't like something, becuase it feels like its never going to end. but when you do like a track, its good.

I think this is soo cool. I hate EDM DJ's who just play the "hook"... it's not hip-hop!!

I love hearing the whole track...especially if its looped...
now if its a boring song thats another story...but then he wouldnt loop a shit song would he..

it all depends on how the night is going really...Sometimes Mark reallly gets into the mood...i remember this Just Kick moment once...i think 15 mins he kept it going and played samples from other songs throughout.... GUV was going nuts!!!!

and yes he does! One night he just kept on playing it over and over again ... it ended up being like 25 mins, of murder was the bass.. But I loved every min of it, good tune and gets the crowd really worked up!

Which is what he does in this set.

Different style of DJing, I guess...I can't just stand there and watch a record spin for 5, 6 or 7 minutes before mixing in another one.

Here is the tracklisting and set time:

part I is 5:45-6:55am
part II is 7:30-8:15am

tracklist:

part I

1. intruder - armin & m.i.k.e.
2. murder was the bass - dk
3. heartbreaker - beyer & lenk
4. i love you - white label
5. white label - white label
6. sala loca - kanzyani
7. white label - white label
8. latin loopworks - tomaz vs filterheadz
9. just kick - cohen vs deluxe
10. airforce 1 - igor s

part II

1. time - hidden logic
2. sand in my shoes - dido
3. find - ridgewalkers
4. satellite - oceanlab
5. silence - delerium
6. this night is over - guv security
7. bonus tracks - recorded nov.6.04
