You should pick up a comprehensive guide to mushroom hunting with color photos and full descriptions. You can even get some at Barnes and Noble and Borders

Thnks Dimethguy, I know about the calvanita or 'puffballs' but thanks again for he info. All the ones i picked where pretty much like the ones i always pick which have a brownish yellow cap, and sort of white stem that all bruised blue and now after picking them the gills have pretty much turned black as well. I was just a little worried after doing to much reading
So just double checking pretty much the only toxic ones that appear on cow dung are the calvatia??
Mushrooms can be danfgerous but if done right they are by far one of the greatest trips u can ever have
thnks again

May I recommend you change the thread title? The deadly mushrooms are anything but "magic." For people who don't realize that *actual* magic (psilocybin) mushrooms are physiologically perfectly safe, it could really give them the wrong impression.

Yeah, I’d like to know what horrible, scarring incident in your childhood turned you into such an ignorant, intellectual-hating philistine?

sounds like your all set. Calvanita species that grow in dung bruise black, and their gills turn more of a golden brown color. From you description you have nothing to worry about, except tripping your gonads off

Enjoy
