you could just do what homer simpson did and give your soul to her, its not like people actually use it.

go to the grocery store and get some dunkan hines cake mix and make her a personalized cake. then get her a card and write a poem in it. you can make some roses out of construction paper or something too. it shows you put a lot of effort into it. oh yea, buy one red rose and use the pedals to sprinkle around the cake on the table or sprinkle them on her bed before you guys do the nasty. or just leave the rose on her car while she's at work or school.


or write a bunch of cute little poems and leave them around for her to discover throughout her day...starting with her car first thing in the morning...find out her schedule and make sure you leave little poems for her at work or school or whatever she does.


it's all about the presentation and delivery of a gift in my opinion. i was broke around the holidays and i could only afford get my boyfriend a couple of dvds and cologne (his bday is day after xmas so i felt like i should get him more). i bought a nice cake and got him balloons and some red roses. i had to pick him up from the airport on his birthday at night since he had been visiting his parents. so before i left to get him, i put the cake on the table w/ the balloons next to it and a couple roses arranged on the table with his presents...then i took what was left of the roses and i left one in the door knocker and one down each flight of stairs in our apt. building...we're on the 3rd floor. so when he got home and started walking up the stairs and saw roses, he looked confused at first, but then he knew it was his hopeless romantic girlfriend.
