Are you adequately insured?

yeah everything is insured thank god. i was thinking about sticking some of my old records that i am going to sell in an affected area and lobbing a bucket of water on them, but it looks a bit suspect having records out of place like that

I've handled household insurance claims before, they wont ask any questions. Just say you were in the process of sorting your collection out and had put these aside

Just don't say you were in the process of cataloguing your collection for insurance purposes.
