Seeing as I have the Mantra remixes sat here in front of me, and the release schedule for Audio Therapy to hand, trust me it is. When have I ever been wrong here?

Infusion have put it in on Poloroid, their own label, coming out through Sony/BMG
as far as I'm aware, it's a recent change

Polaroid Recordings has nothing whatsoever to do with Sony/BMG. BMG had no interest in promoting singles from 'Six Feet Above Yesterday' outside of Australia. This is why 'Better World' ended up on Polaroid everywhere else outside Oz. However, the ownership rights to 'Girls Can Be Cruel' in the UK at least are held by Audiotherapy (they released it last year), and will come out there. The Mantra release has remixes by the Mantra All Stars (Santos and others) and Alex Dolby.

Glad the mixes are getting the thumbs up and the hype is already starting on this release.

Just to clear up a few points;

1) Audio Therapy will be releasing these mixes on vinyl and BMG/Sony will be releasing on cd single format , etc.

2) Mantra Vibes mixes will be out within the next 4 weeks.

3) Polaroid is Infusions new label and will no doubt be releasing all other singles on this label , however Audio Therapy own the vinyl rights to Girls so consequently we will be releasing these in late March / early April.

4) Audio snippets - we hope to have these up on our site when we launch it in March.

Hope this clarifies a few things.

Released today.

AT013 Viton & Stel – Wooden Swordz

Release Date 24th January
Distribution by Amato

Format 2 x 12” Vinyl
AT013 – Kosmas Epsilon / Jose Zamora & Dousk ( JDK ) Remixes
AT013X – Nikola Gala Remix / Christian Cambas Forgotten Dub

Audio Therapy is very proud to present to you “ Wooden Swordz “ a new offering from Stel and production partner Viton who have cleverly used samples from esteemed Greek rock band Xylina Spathia. The track has been given the remix treatment from some of the hottest names of the moment Kosmas Epsilon, Nikola Gala, Christian Cambas, Jose Zamora and Dousk.

The track originated on cd format out of Greece during the summer through Planetworks and with the huge selection of remixes has found favour with those lucky enough to stumble across it and has featured in many of Sasha’s sets in Ibiza, etc as well as the likes of Armin Van Buuren, Gabriel & Dresden and Markus Schulz. Consequently the hype has been building on the track with numerous plays on guest radio mixes adding to the increasing awareness of the track and resulting in a multitude of licensing offers and now we have the pleasure of releasing it on Audio Therapy.

All names involved in the project have shot to the forefront over the past year with releases on labels like Bedrock, SAW, Intrinsic, Deep and Swift and have all had support from the likes of John Digweed, James Holden, Mathew Dekay, Zabiela, Kleinenberg and Hernan Cattaneo to name but a few.

Anyway we are tremendously honoured to be able to release such a quality release and hope that you agree with us. So if you are supporting this track with plays or charting it we really would like to know, even if it doesn’t float your boat we still like to hear your opinion so please e-mail me at the address above.

Next up is Phil K & Habersham with the stunning “ Cloudbrake “ which features a storming remix from Lexicon Avenue which is already starting to get a lot of attention.

“Awesome! A Great Package.” DJ Mag Pete Gooding February Issue

“Kosmas Epsilon Remix is a huge monster of a mix” 3 Beat

“Dave Seaman’s fantastic Audio Therapy label delivers the first of many
massive tracks to come in 2005.” M8 Dave Begg February Issue

“Wooden Swordz showcases the growing wealth of talent emerging from Greece, with Stel in particular amongst those leading the charge.” Progressive-sounds.com
