I hope freedom is brought to Iran once more, after being taken away from US when they brought that Mullah Khomehni (sp?)
I remember the Shah of Iran, far out, now he was a leader. He made Iran look more westernized but the damn Mullahs and their bullshit beliefs brainwashed people into thinking something bad was happenening.
I know alot of people keep relating Iran to bad things, you couldn't be more wrong.. but if u related the Mullahs to bad things, then i would agree.
Down with the Mullahs |
I am also Iranian but I believe if Iranians want change bad enough, they will revolt. You should not "hope" that the Americans invade Iran. That would be a disaster for both sides.
Yes, 95% of the country wants change. However, the last thing that they want is for the US to "liberate" them. Any attempt to invade Iran will stir up extreme nationalism and will unify the country against the foreign aggressor.
Iran is no Iraq. They have not been sanctioned for the last 14 years. While they were friendly with the US, they acquired 60 F-14 tomcats, most of which are still operational. The rest of their airforce is quite powerful along with their army and navy. They also have favorable terrain for defense; lots of mountainous regions which would make it difficult for the US to transport supplies, troops, etc.
I seriously doubt that US will ever invade Iran. They'll have an extremely difficult time trying to sell this to the American public who have already had to deal with the 200 billion dollar cost of the current war as well as the 1,200 US deaths. I doubt any country would help the US....maybe Israel, but that's it.
