once again.. iriver hp-140 line in, lcd remote, built in mic, radio
etc. etc.

I used this last night for christopher lawrence set, and came out beautiful

can record either mp3 (any bit rate) or wave
from line in, optical in, radio

can play mp3, wave, ogg

drag and drop, plug and play

yeah there the 20 gig version hp120
does the same thing

the current models that are available now is the h320 and h340 if you cant find the h120's

but there more expensive and you dont get the remote (extra 120buks )
but its got a colour screen

AND can act as a USB host to suck photos from your digital camera - and display them on the colour screen. AWESOME for holidays - huge storage space, no need to juggle memory cards.

yes they record from line in,

they retail at roughly the same price for an equivalent ipod, however unlike the ipods they arent set price so i'd bargain them down quite alot.

Yeah I have a 20G IRiver, it records beautifully. You might not think you need that much space but you will once you have it (and u will wish u had more) It's a goog portable hard drive too
