If you got the $$$, I swear by the IBM ThinkPads... Yes I know the IBM PC/Laptop division is being sold to some Chinese company called Lenovo... Hopefully quality will remain. Lenovo are allowed all the patents and use of the IBM ThinkPad trade mark for some years to come.

Although, there was a recent /. article that the US Government May Not Approve the Sale of IBM PC Unit to Lenovo.

the only problem that I've got with most of the laptops out there is the price... for features included, LG definitely has the lowest price, and in my case that is the deciding factor.
