Just got myself a 512MB little player for £40 delivered. Couldn't bothered to spend 4 times as much for an ipod/iriver/etc, as 512 is enough for about 4-5 mixes, and I can change em whenever I am at home, plus it is tiny, so gym use n that is much easier
I've got a Rio Nitrus. Comes with Senhinser headphones
1.5 gig (think you get 4)
But if you want more space than that. Then some form of iRiver is probebly the best bet. But you'll be likely to have to spend more than £150.
Reconditioned but if you have to stick to your £150 price. Linky

Take a mp3player where you can exchange the batteries!! I have an ipod for one year now and the batteries play only for 3 hours now instead of 11 hours like it supposed to.

Demand for it to be fixed. It's your one of your consumers rights

removable batt. for hd mp3 players is a huge advantage, the only ones that come of the top of my head are the old creative zen extra, and the creative zen micro

Seems like pretty good value to me... maybe I'll get the 20 gig one.
Should I worry at all about the fact that it's reconditioned, not new?
Of course I still need to check my bank balance before I get anything

Love it to death, and came at a great price.
At first, I loved MD, but I slowly began to hate Sony's bad software, and how it could take 20 minutes to make a 200mb MD because of their dumb fucking Atrac3 encoding.
I used to love MD's too, but they are too much of a hassle. Sony makes absolute garbage too, especially their software.
Loved my sharp md dr7, best sounding portable I've ever owned.

Well I kinda would worryish. In all probability it'll be ok.... but well you know 14 day warranty.....
Basicly if I ( and I did ) had to stick to a 150 price limit I'd get a soild but lower capacity player. 1.5/4 gig is plenty in my view but as they say it's upto you
