I don't think there's necessarily a difference, but 33rpm is normally used if the tracks are too long to be played at 45rpm (in this case, there's two tracks per side) and once they pass a certain overall length the grooves are cut narrower when pressing... which lessens the volume/sound quality

the pressing on the maverick release is awful, i have to put the gain up to just under max to get it at a decent volume

Jep. I've got the 2x12 release on Maverick, and the sound quality is just poor! Tiesto rmx got a very low volume level.

Perfecto CD promo does not fade out- have just checked this so i am certain.
Im pretty sure the promo double pack 12 doesnt either- but dont quote me on this as it is buried in the attic somewhere and i cant be bothered to check.

i got the 2x12" on maverick and its the full version... but... as already stated, its fuggin 33rpm and its a bit quiet. i hate having to use the gain on the mixer, it still never sounds punchy enough, it just sounds like amplified weakness. i don't know why they would press it like this, i don't think anyone bought the damn doublepack for any of the other mixes. might as well squeeze 3 x 33rpm mixes on one side and the tiesto 45rpm on its own side.

anti-33rpm alliance, anyone ?

my perfecto double pack promo thyngymabob is the full track....it's not a patch on his unreleased 'beta' version though.

i thought the unreleased version just had one or two different lines in the song? it isnt actually any different music wise? like on 'in search of sunrise 3'.

It's about a woman contemplating suicide over lost love. However Oakenfold wanted commercial success with the tune, and decided the lyrics were too depressing for the general public, so fluffed them up to these:
