my tip would be to not worry so much about beatmatching because thatll come naturally the more you play. Concentrate on phrasing.

well thanks for everything so far guys... i am definitely hitting the decks as much as i can... i have been going quite nuts with buying vinyl so that i have a variety to work with...
so how about this... does anyone have 2 specific tracks with a specific part to fade in with at a particular fade out point on the 'outgoing' track?.... so im talking phrases of particular songs and timing...
and that are not 'too' difficult

i cant think of 2 specific songs but a good way to start off is to throw in ur cued track once the outro of the live track starts

Don't get me wrong, I just want some guidance on HOW to go about doing this seeing as how i have no dj friends that can give me any pointers...
I do plan to do this for the long term and plan to perfect my skills
with loads of practice
