thanks for the advice everyone, getting some great feedback here!
taking the advice to beef up the percs, i was just playing around with another line of rimshots/snares and it sounds great, and keeps the energy together a lot better
changed the snare too, like that better as well
right now i'm just workin on 20 dollar headphones so i can't really do much with the bassline, so i'll check that out later tonight at home
and on that note, a few people have mentioned they'd like something more to the bassline, but what do you have in mind?
i'm having the problem where you work on one track too much and its hard to stay objective
thanks!
yeah i know sry, i got 100 megs webspace and 98 were filled, so to get the new versions up i have to delete the old ones
and the upload's not working atm, should be fixed by midnight EST
sry!
very original tune here man. i really like that square lead, but it sounds almost kinda filtered, not clean enough. i really hate that crash sample you've used. the percs could stand to be beefed up a little bit. i like those distorted strings you have at 3:30ish.
a lot of cool ideas in here, i think the mix just needs a little cleaning up.
nice song, a bit too happy for me, i'm more into dark sounds
the mastering could be improved, the track needs more power on the lower frequencies. i think you need to balance out all synths a little better. the melody the comes in after the break is great, but i don't like the acid sounds.

This track is decent though not your typical Paul Van Dyk or Tiesto track, but hey, it's original though does not sound like trance. I have to admit I've done songs myself that don't sound like trance either.. So I am guilty of that as well...
If I were you I'd do this:
1. Add more compression to some tracks (much more)
2. Add more variety and some surprise elements.
3. EQ a bit
4. Give more energey to the percussion (make the kick more noticeable)
Well that's about it. Keep it up!

I love this bass in the intro.
The filter on the acid makes it seem kind of muffled when it first comes in. It can probably be more pronounced when there's no lead over it.
The pads are really low. Even my stereos can't put them out really well.
I like 5:14. It's a really nice feel. Almost like hard ibiza, if such a thing exists.
That last jungle riff at the very end is awesome.

really like the bass, it kinda kicks in with long release after each set of beats, groovy and original... the main melody is too much for me, too much going on, but thats a matter personal taste... overall i like it, wish i made this
