Yeah, swerving off the road, no big deal. Done that a few times, and better than head on shit. You're probably afraid of heights as well, but after you've fallen off a few, then you respect the height and potential damage. I think your fear is fear of getting hurt and you've never been hurt much before. Trust me, after broken shit and stitches and other stuff for life, then you really don't fear the impact itself, but concentrate on the damage control in your mind before you even hit.
