I know exactly what cha mean! I did that bassline on my remix of kai tracid-trance and acid. I wanted a waamp waamp for this one though haahaa. Great minds think alike

soundclick is good, it's a great way of publicising yourself. Best of all, it's free. Dunno where else I can host all of my tracks!

I started with reason, fiddled with that for a good 6 months. I couldnt quite get the raw sounds I was after so I hunted down a copy of cubase and set out to learn it. Haven't looked back since. Still think reason is a top programmer, but the sequencer in cubase is light years ahead of the one in reason.
Definitely recommend starting out using reason or fruityloops, a lot of people use FL in their productions (not me). It's better than reason in the respect that you can use VSTs, other than that I dont really rate it.

just wanted to say that i'm using FL and i'm just happy with it! took some time to learn it, i was using buzz earlier. Ozgur Can for example uses FL too, aswell as Icone and many others

tru dat by saying I dont rate it, was simply meaning I dont really like using it. The prog itself is a great sequencer, heaps of producers use it, just not my cup o tea, but thats not the case for everyone. I'll say my favourite one liner again
"It ain't what cha got it's how ya use it "

i really like this, very driving but it feels like its building up to nothing really. Really like that beat toward the end, really pumping.

I would kill for that vocal.

i like what you did with the vocal, the breakbeat kicks ass too
a real hands-up theme, top production... Perhaps add high notes to the main melody (chord). This production reminds me of the productions made by Solid Solution (like Sweet Dreams).
