Warning
Some remote areas of Croatia, even though safe and welcoming, remain uncleared of landmines. These include the Danube region in eastern Slavonia and Krajina. It is unwise to stray into fields or abandoned villages.

Be careful

I will say though that list is bogus..they mention my home country of Poland as one of the EUropean countries, and eventhough I love it to death and it has some of the nicest scenery and locale...its totally false in what they describe it as. "hey poland is safe" haha ...what a misconception, if u go to the South and they spot u as a tourist u will be 99.99 percent mugged or robbed. I didnt know croatia has that nice of scenery.

I like the attempt to associate the word american with dumb.

and hey don't kill the messenger. He is just pointing out the difference in cultures. Most americans love to drink and party and not look at coastlines and nature. Although there are some that do.

I just think it's a little narrow minded to judge another culture for their likes and dislikes. but hell it seems like the popular thing for everyone to do now-a-days.

Well, it's trendy to bash America in particular.
