Why don't just give your lineup, instead of complaining about 'overhyped' DJs. That YOU don't like their stuff (anymore), does not mean I or someone else must think the same.
I think Trance Energy is designed to have 'mainstream' DJs behind the turntables. I have been there once when I was 18 (TE 2003). I can tell ya it's more a party where you leave with a wet shirt than a party where you are moving your feet a little bit and talk with friends 'bout how good that song is.
Some people forget how amazing a party can be that is fullfilled with tracks that make you jump and go crazy like an idiot. You can't call it dance anymore. I admit, I don't like it as much as 2 years ago. I rather go to DanceValley than to Trance Energy, but such a party once a year is pretty cool. Especially if you could make your own lineup.
A lot of people think Adagio For Strings by Tiesto is crap. That can be, but on the dancefloor with that track I am unstopable! I have seen some parts of Tiesto In Concert, the whole stadium was unstopable. The tracks turned on at Trance Energy are of the same (sub)genre as Adagio For Strings. I'd love to go there once more!
So please stop with that bullshit. Skip the thread if you don't like it. Let me and others who like it to go to Trance Energy, have some fun in this thread.
So here is my line up.
Armin van Buuren
M.I.K.E.
Randy Katana
Tiesto (only seen him once, love to see him once more)
Blank and Jones (their set at TE2002 was really great)
