My main concern is compatibility....MP3s are obviously more compatible with shit than mp4s....whether it is serato scratch/final scratch or my car's MP3 player...the only piece of hardware other than my computer I could use MP4 files with is my ipod.
However...I COULD download the 192kb mp4s and if needed convert those back to higher bitrate mp3s...but all this conversion could result in extra quality losses, not to mention a bunch of extra work.
Any word on if serato scratch will support mp4s? I heard they are looking into it...the reason I bring this up now is I just got it...hence I'm looking for legal music downloads rather than vinyl now.
