Check out the second half of the post, about H.B. 254. Not legalization but, still getting closer to decriminalization(no jail time for < 1oz. Which for you Texas taxpayers[i.e.anyone with a job], means the government would spend less locking up non-violent offenders, and put the money to something more constructive in the community.).
On a serious note, I hope you fellow Texas stoners wrote/emailed your congressmen/women.
