There are a few threads regarding CD players. I'd like to get one to throw some CD's into my mixes. I've got two tables already but the vinyl collection isn't nearly as big as the MP3 collection and there are some great songs I want to mix in but can't since I don't have the vinyl. (software is crap, doesn't work well on my machine anyway) What is recommended for a simple single cd player to mix in CD's. I don't need any fancy jazz on it?

I got myself two cdj-20's they are very good for their price, they have anti shock, +/- 16%, jog dial, and their about 165 apiece at audiolines.com get em while their hot, their discontinued for the new cdj-30's which dont change much but cost twice as much

Those the Gemini's? I don't know anything about the cd players. Gemini ok? American DJ stuff has some bad reviews on this board. What about Stanton? I don't want to spend the money on any Pioneer ones since I don't need anything fancy. Just a simple usable cd player for my 3rd input.

I have the denon 2600F and i like it very much. That CD-player has a 3 HE control unit, with large buttons and a lot of freaky functions. I especially like the pitch bend buttons, i can't work with the jog wheel for pitch correction (don't ask me why, with vinyl it works better). I saw the pioneer CDJ-1000, saw it working, and there was no big difference between the pioneer and the denon (except that the pioneer has a better digiscratch, and a, in my view, useless track readout). But 2 Pioneers will cost you a lot more then a single denon, and they almost have the same performance and ease in use.
