Why the hell did they send a blind girl who knows jack shit about the outside society when one of the seeing elders could have just as easily jumped the fence, grabbed the medicine, stopped for a beer, and then returned with no one the wiser? i just saw this movie last weekend...


i think if you lived in a village like that...you wouldn't know any type of life other then what you were born into. if you were seriously raised to believe that there were these terrible creators in the forest that will kill you...and it was reinforced in every facet of life, i think it would be a great deturrent from you trying to discover it. i don't know how i would behave because i probably wouldn't think the same way that i do know. a lot of my opinions are based around a knowledge that i've learned over the course of my life and without that knowledge...i might not be in a position to challenge things....

i dunno...interesting concept though...
