Ahhhh, so you're the chick that I traded the Ovum shirt with...you're cute...you're dumb, but you are cute...anyway...
No matter what, it's still bad trance. I even stated before that it's just my opinion, but their music is like the sound of a 10 dollar prostitute moaning in an illegal russian bathouse. Not good, my friend. And of course anyone could find out for themselves if their music is good or not. If someone were to read these boards every day and dedicate his or herself to becoming knowledgable on what's good music, and if they have the ear for it, they too will know what's good and what's not. If they like overridding synths and year old shit, that's their problem.
I heard both Jason E AND DJ Vibe spin, and to me, they don't even count as DJs. They're in it for glamour, nothing more.
The whole point is that they DON'T have a decent track selection. Their shit is old. Every track Tommy used to ask about to me was at the very least a year old. I kept telling him to improve his track selection, but of course he never listened. He was becoming successful, why ever change what got him there? So I know for a fact that his shit is weak. So stop stressing that point. And definitely don't treat me like an ex-boyfriend: You're wrong. Deal with it. |
So basically you think that any music over a year old is bad trance... I agree that his track selection is not the most recent, but he plays crowd favorites that everyone likes to dance to. I never claimed that he was a superstar dj, but he is 1000 times better than a lot of other philly djs such as one that I have already mentioned.
I do know what good music is... I go out in NY and D.C. more than I go out in philly b/c we get good trance dj's about 3 times a year. And although I love trance I also make it a point to see any good dj that comes into town no matter what genre (Holden, Liebing, etc...) just to expand my musical knowlege.
I have my first gig coming up in a couple months and about 1/2 of my set is from 98-00 b/c in my opinion those are the best years for trance and I love the classics. I'm 26 years old, I've been buying vinyl for over 5 years, this will be my 5th WMC this year. Your assumption that I don't know good music is bullshit. Just b/c I don't post very often doesn't mean that I don't read this board every day.
And this is exacxtly why I don't post... b/c I don't want to get into petty fights over stupid shit. Go ahead call me whatever the fuck you want... I've said my piece. I'm out.

You should post more often so I educate you on life. Anyway, I can give a shit who you are personally, just don't be a bad DJ. Of course, I'd rather watch a girl masturbate than watch her DJ, but, then again, that's just me. |
Just becuase your the ugliest person Ive ever met in my life and you prolly will never do better than to watch a girl masturbate via the internet, doesnt mean you have to go arround spreading hate in every thread you post in. Either its some sort of movie elist shit you post, how you know everything about every movie. Or its how something you like is better than something someone else likes. Get of your ugly ass, off the computer and go to the gym. And stop being a arrogant prick..
