As nice as a real 303 is, getting it properly synced up is fun (no MIDI), and programming it can be infuriating if you have a certain pattern in mind due to the way the buttons a very dodgy and can easily double trigger, forcing you to start all over from the beginning.

Up one octave, down one octave. A normal note might be C3 or E3 or whatever, so down would be C2, D2, etc.
