"Skinner, what that bright light in your kitchen"
'err, Aurora Borealis...'
"AURORA BOREALIS! At this time of year, at this time of day, localised entirely in your kitchen."
'That's right'
"Can I see it?"
'Errr, NO.'

The sky seemed to be totally lit-up by red in the distance - it wasn't like something over the horizon, it was like God was throwing a blanket over the northern hemisphere.
A blanket of low-density plasma.
Truly, words and pictures fail to give these experiences justice. It's amazing how such colours in an unusual circumstance can seem so beautiful. Something beyond the expression any of us could convey.
edit: Oh yeah - I'm listening to Airdrawndagger now as I think about it.
Yeah...it wasnt anything totally colorfull for me...more like yellowy/greenish whisps...but it was amazing how they changed, intensified and just appeared in different spots...and Airdrawndagger is perfect for them

I love flying. When coming back home from Florida I saw the sunset behind a balnket of cotten candy pink clouds with the sky looking like a painter had splashed buckets of diffrent colored paint on the sky. I was listening to Magik 6 while watching it and it's just one of those picturesqe scenes I imagine when listening to Trance.
