john, i think its good! i agree that maybe its a *little* too minimal, but it isnt really the kind of thing i normally listen to. it IS the kind of song i would chill too in my room late at night. but i think you can still add something to it that will make it a little more interesting.

but good job so far.

I don't get why the cymbal is in there. I think it needs to be taken out. Other than that, its good just needs a buildup of some sort.

hmm where to start

percs are kinda weak, kick is ugly. hats are kinda weird..pattern im not diggin. snare is kinda weak too. vocals are cut up nice,. bass could use more oomf. maybe add pad or another synth, its too minimal. id say nice start, its got potential but also needs alot of work.

Yes i know it needs more synths/effects.... But when i work i work from scratch with my synths thats half the fun, doing sound design that is.

This version has added drum fills and effects and some synth work...

not really fan of nething but the vocals.... the bass doesnt really flow with the vocals, those vocals have so much that can be done to them.... sorry to be brutally honest, but its a bit too minimal, i dont really like the beat at all, or the random little hats u added in there.... like i said, those vocals deserve MUCH more, who sung that btw? keep up the work though, i hope i didnt offend or nething, we all have different tastes..

you need to change something, it doesnt flow right...

maby make the bass line longer like 4 beats, sounds like it is 2?

It doesn't flow right, measure to measure.

maby that kick on the 1 is a little to strong.
