I hear ya...but unless someone is peeling out from the stop, it should be reasonably easy to avoid an accident in that case...

after being car-less for a little over a year, I'm buying something this spring...but stories like this remind me of how stupid so many drivers can be...it's been a nice year of not dealing with the idiots on the road

the best theory. cars will stop if your car is much bigger than theirs.... get and F 350..

He even had the nerve to honk.

we retrofited one of those for the windsor police dept this summer with the hidden lights in the grill and all, but i still like the dualys in the rear on the F350.... the excursion is fakin huge tho.... the fat stance of the f350 just makes people crap their pants wehn you come up on them fast ... all they can see is grill in the rear view mirror.... they move out of your way pretty quickly at that point :P

There is only 1 traffic light that ALWAYS confuses me...

It is on Lawrence, east of Yonge, as u head to Bayview. It goes from solid green > to a red WITH a green arrow pointing ahead where the solid green was (as in, go straight). WTF?!?!?!

Do u stop, or go? What's the point in that?

I saw something equally as confusing in Montreal somewhere. The honking cars behind me were a signal to go ahead, even tho it had 2 conflicting signals at once.

Ah yes the mount pleasant one.

The arrow is for those who just turned right off of mount pleasant to continue and the red is meant for those on lawrence. They had to do this because its a wierd intersection i guess.

flashing plain green in Montreal ?? You have priority over the incoming traffic to turn (left) or go to any direction like a regular plain green.

Red and a green arrow(s), you can only go in that/those directions.

Vertical straight white line, Buses and taxis can go thru, it gives them priority over cars so they get ahead if the streets is reduced one lane ahead (damn... complicated, i guess its not that one)

I can't think of any other weird ones.
