marcus banks from celtics blocked a 7 footer dunk and took him down .. one of the best dunks i have ever seen ... and whats marcus barely 6 feet tall ... obviously if u are taller in basketball u have advantage over a shorter but like any sport there is always something thats needed ...
if u run fast u gonna be able to kick the ball by an oppenonet and run around him and get to the ball and u dont need any ball skills
if u r tall WR u gonna be able to jump over defenders and catch the ball ..
but all that u need to practice in order to work .. u cant just be tall and play basketball and have no shot ... u cant just be fast and kick the ball and outrun a player in soccer if u dont know the common sense of soccer and where to kick the ball and u can be tall as u want as a WR but if u cant catch the damn thing u can go to helll then ... PRACTICE PRACTICE thats the word

Righto then.
So you have 6 players in the history of the NBA that were under 6 feet tall and all of a sudden its a game that everyone can play?
Get a grip... |
There have been a hell of a lot more than 6 players under 6 foot that have played in the NBA. In the NBa just at the moment theres Earl Boykins, Yuta Tabuse, Speedy Claxton, Jameer Nelson Allen Iverson... Allen Iverson is currently the highest scoring player in the NBA and has won previous scoring titles and he is only 6ft and 175lbs.

One of the best point guards in NBA is Charles Barkley, and he is not tall at all. |
Charles Barkley was a center, probably the position most opposite to PG, and retired a fair while ago. He was by no means small either! He was 6ft 9/10ish and built! This guy started a fight with Shaq one time!

But there are other countries who are better then the USA in basketball, Russia are the number one basket ball country in the world. They have smashed the Dream Team of NBA several times |
THE Dream Team was never ever beaten. They totally destroyed the '92 olympics and were probably the greatest team in basketball history! No USA team has lived up to them since and none of them have every been 'smashed' at all. The 2004 olympic team was beaten on a few occasions but ever by a large margin and considering the team sent out consisted of many 5th, 6th, 7th rate players for the respective postitions its not surprising. Russia no. 1 in the world? Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Argentina win gold at the olympics?

dream team was the best team ever put together and that is because they had players such as MJ and Pippen and they werent bunch of jackasses as the USA teams they send now ... one other thing ... Russia never was really good u probobly wanted to say luthunia ... argentina won olympics but they arent better then serbian ( ex yugoslavia) only reason why argentina won olympics was because players such as vlade divac marko jaric and peja stojakovic who are proven good nba players didnt play for serbia and argentina had all their guys ... but they did win it fair and square so good job for them ...
last thing ... if you say nba sucks becuase there is 2 many tall guys playing then you r just a dumbass ... look at bradley shawn from mavericks he sucks and hes what 7'6 huge dude and he cant score for shit .. what happand to being tall ... he just doesnt have the skills and skills is what matters ... AI 6'0 and look at him puting 30 evernight ... why ... cuz he got skills
