CEL can be anything. Most likely an O2 Sensor. What type of car is it? There is also a sensor in your brakes (some more than others) which might have thrown the CEL when you went over the Median

its a 98? chevy cavalier with tiggers and pikachus in the back ledge

should i get it checked out?
