Just because a game is over-hyped doesn't mean it's not worth playing. I still place it in my top three favorite RPG's. Valkyrie Profile and Star Ocean: The Second Star placing above it.

I actually had the Super Fami version. Played the whole thing in Japanese with the translation printed out. Thing came out to like 100 pages.
I recently got the Emu version. Much sweeter being able to finally play it in fully translated English.

that was sick... especially once you got to the level 80/90 magic users... i used that relic that avoided all enemies. there was no point to fighting enemies there unless to get magic points.

I loved that item. I was always mega levels higher than I should be in every RPG I played. Plus, to gain magic point, you just go to that desert and fight Cactrot.
