Progressive and uplifting are both good, but uplifting wins if you compare a good uplifting tune to a good prog tune.

Progressive, not progressive as in the proggy sleepy feeling tracks of today, but the progressive that means starting from a simple beat and gradually building on it into a full on tune, it just makes the whole trance experience seem like a long fun trip.


I find that the progressive tunes tend to be longer, and I enjoy the longer tracks more it seems.

uplifting trnce tracks are almost all the same imo...

so I prefer progressive trance music...
