Listening to this as i write......
Intro beats etc sound solid, perfectly eq mixed.
Bass line enters nicely with the extra hi hats.

fx sweep at 3:28ish just doesn't sound right??? could be too loud not equed or just dont fit.

Synth's fit nicely, overall though nice track, solid work.

Mayb you should add some nice acid stuff. Your climax is pretty weak as well, your main synth is to low on volume. I like the icone remix much more tbh...

2.40 nice.

3.40 sweet. great layering.

4.30 sweet drum roll.

lol at the break beats. hehe. something diferent.

great track. The rythme isnt that catchy, but the production is kickass (as always!)

That hat at 0:41 is really cool.

The pads are kinda cheesy. They could use some more ambience.

Good percs in the break.

Fun track. Good energy throughout.

hey m8, its good remix, but still like Icone, u didnt add anything really new to it... some sort of new melody, breakbeat is the only new thing, which is nice, and also a little too overcompressed as a few said already
but i geuss this version is more pumped , more cluby style than the other mixes
nice attempt m8 keep it up

Most of the negative points of this track have been covered already. Most notably the clipping in the breakbeat.

A few more twists on the syth sounds would raise the bar further into new territory, but as it stands it's a very competant remworking of an awesome track.

If I was you now that the main structure and sounds are there I'd shelve it for a month or two and come back and remix this remix and that would almost certainly take it into "new territory" as opposed to the work done so far to get it near the original version.

If I din't know the original so well I'd give it a solid 8/10 (Mix issues spoil it for me), but as it is I'd say 6.5 / 7 out of ten overall due to the lack of twist Vs the original.

I've jsut read that back and it sounds harsher than I mean. It's well done, but since you are playing at this level I'm sure you can do something awesome with it.
