Great tracklist, great set.

I still would have loved to hear him do a crazy mix like this jazzy jeff style (cept with cdjs) rather than with use of a laptop and Abelton Live, as his general approach to djing seems to be very hands on, and abelton doesnt quite fit that style yet.

Can't have everything though.

Zabiela doesn't use Ableton (yet). He still goes crazy on the effects pad and cdjs I thought...

This set is basically the stuff he played here in New York last friday. Quality stuff on the dancefloor. It'll keep you dancing all night.... sorry Alex, no recording...

Yep, threw me for a loop too.

Can't blame him for using abelton though, its an amazing program. I just thought he would go for a more hands on approach. Maybe he would have too, but it sounded like he was asked to put this together on a bit of short notice by the sounds of the phonecall.

After reading that tracklist and relistening to the set, it's even better than before. I didn't even realize that first percussion section was from his Eli... there just so much layering of tracks everywhere. Delicious...
