World's system was really good when i went Kelly. Maybe they tuned it differntly when Tiesto came. Exit's sound system was beautiful when Vicious spun there last month but i went last week and i heard Exit's resident dj T.Draper mix and it wasnt the same. When it comes down to it, its the tuning that goes the extra mile.
Webster Hall is just too commercial for me. Dont u see all those shit cd's that they put out? Thats shit trance.
If your looking for a good club..Go to Mars, Paul van Dyk is gonna be there sometime soon lol.
Just stick to the dj's for now. Very good dj's have been flooding New York lately, just check out the NYC Events thread like Twilochik said.

I went to Webster Hall a couple of times on Tranz fridays when Taucher & Talla were they but they stopped booking them. The crowd is WEAK! Webster hall needs major renovations, a new name, new promoters, & good DJs.

i went to exit friday too. i honestly didnt think it was that bad. but then again, i have fun sitting in my room listening to music. once draper went off and vicious came on, it was dope. he played alot of trance. the crowd actually liked it, which is surprising cause exit always plays that tribal house shit after 3 or 4. i didnt see as many juiceheads as i usually do and there were tons of girls, which is good for us guys. i dunno... btw, xcentric, if you were on the main floor at like 4 - 4:30, he played this song with what sounded like a machine gun in it and he mixed it with stranger in the house (i think). do you have any idea what this song is??

I went to exit this past friday too and i must say i had a good time. I was supprised to hear alot of trance and see so many beautiful girls, though a lot seemed young. I was there at the time you mentioned but i don't remember anything that sounded like a machine gun but then again i wasn't too sober so i would have not remembered it. BTW what time did vicious come on anyways.

well, i actually have no idea what time vicious came on. i just know that it wasnt draper at like 3, cause he does not play trance, except for the popular trance songs, like played a live. and from 3 till when i left at 4:45 there was a lot of trance being played. i went to abyss in jersey last nite, and the dicks wouldnt let anyone under 21 in. they said "we're letting everyone who is 21 in first then you guys" so they made us go across the street to some other wack club. worst 20$ i ever spent. i probably would've been a better DJ than this guy. there were like 100 people in the club and he was playing the worst songs. when theres that little amount of people and no one is dancing, the DJ should take the hint and play songs that everyone knows. i'm definitely going to Exit on the 14th if that Tiesto rumour stays true.
