i honestly dont see what all the fuss about sander is. i saw him twice in 2001 and he was pretty boring i thought. none of his mixes seem to do it for me either, he just plays big tunes, whereas at least schulz plays a lot of really upfront stuff, from unknown producers. i have only seen schulz once, and he was amazing. plays his fair share of prog as well, and better prog than the sort of stuff sander played when i saw him. im not saying markus schulz is the bestest ever, but hes not shite, and is certainly one of two trance djs that i would still be interested in seeing. |
sander 4 years ago was very different from the sander now. he used to be sasha's warm up DJ - but he is now one of the biggest DJs in his own right

well im not saying i wouldnt give him another chance, but even his last essential mix didnt do much for me, he even played that horrible matthew dekay-beastie boys monstrosity. hes definitely one of the biggest djs about now, but as mr. verwest will never tell you, that dont mean a damn thing.
